Singer Kelly Rowland is officially a proud mama, welcoming her first child with hubby Tim Weatherspoon Nov. 4 in Los Angeles.

“We are thrilled to announce that today we are the proud parents of our first son, Titan Jewell Weatherspoon,” said Rowland in an official statement e-mailed to the AFRO. “Titan was born at 1:30 p.m. and weighed 7.5 lbs. We are blessed to report everyone is healthy and happy.”
Rowland’s former Destiny’s Child mate and friend Michelle Williams confirmed that the new mother was doing well. She also told E! News that the “Motivation” singer will make a great parent.
“Kelly’s going to be an amazing mom,” Williams said. “She’s always been great with children. She loves babysitting, she loves buying stuff for kids. She has such a big heart. She’s a giver and a nurturing person and, really, that’s what motherhood is all about.”
The 33-year-old Rowland secretly tied the knot with her now-manager husband in May, just two months before announcing her pregnancy via a cryptic Instagram shot of full-size and mini Air Jordan sneakers.
Throughout her pregnancy, Kelly flaunted her fertile body, even posing nude for Elle in her last trimester. In an interview with the fashion magazine, the singer talked about how excited she was to have her first child and what kind of celebrity parent she would be.
“I just plan to play it by ear,” she said. “It’s about finding your normal, whatever that may be.”
