After less than two years of marriage, funnyman Martin Lawrence and his wife have decided to call it quits.
A rep for Lawrence confirmed to E! News that the “Big Momma's House” star and wife Shamicka are getting a divorce after making a “joint decision to part ways.”
“Out of love and respect for one another we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together,” the couple said in a statement, according to E! News.
The pair has been together for 15 years but only wed in Beverly Hills in 2010. Their high-profile wedding was attended by a list of celebrities including Eddie Murphy and Barry Bonds, according to People magazine.
