Cash Money, Young Money Daughters Launch “Paparazzi Princesses” Book Series

Music mogul Birdman and rapper Lil’ Wayne have teamed up for dozens of hit collaborations over the years, and now their daughters are hoping for a hit of their own.

Bria Williams, daughter of rapper Birdman, and Reginae Carter, daughter of Lil’ Wayne, are gearing up for the June 4 release of their book “Paparazzi Princesses” by Cash Money Content.

The rap princesses are currently on a book signing tour, with a stop planned at Green Acres Mall in Queens, N.Y. on June 1.

With the help of author Karyn Langhorne Folan, Williams, 16, and Carter, 15, penned the story of their high school struggles, crushes, and the trials and tribulations of teenage-hood.

The book’s description on Amazon reads: “Money and designer clothes. Fame and red carpet events. Front row concert tickets and expensive parties. That’s all the good stuff… but being the daughter of a music mogul or famous rapper isn’t easy. As the daughters of two legends of rap music, trips, cash, designer labels and famous friends are just business as usual for Kayla and Promise. But so are the high expectations of super-successful parents, the drama of having two-faced friends, the not-always welcome glare of constant media attention and the hurt of nasty gossip.”

Williams and Carter held a prom themed photo-shoot for the book full of studded, sparkly gowns and bright neon and pastel outfits.

The pair are no strangers to the spotlight—both have been spotted at award shows alongside their fathers for years. Carter signed-on as a solo artist with her father’s label Young Money earlier this year after a previous stint with the all-girl group, The OMG Girlz. Carter left the group in 2010 before the trio reached teen pop stardom.

In a recent interview about his daughter’s book, Birdman said he is proud to see his daughter and Carter make their dreams a reality.

“There’s no better feeling than watching Bria and Reginae make this dream come true,” said Birdman. “They took an idea, worked extremely hard, and brought it to life. It’s the kind of story that everybody can feel, and it’s only the start of much bigger things for these two wonderful young ladies.”
