Visit Baltimore has just launched the new Legends and Legacies Experience Pass commemorating the lives and achievements of individuals whose courage and perseverance helped develop the United States of America as we know it. A continuation of Visit Baltimore’s ongoing multicultural marketing initiatives, the Legends and Legacies Experience Pass provides discounted, one-time admission to three of Baltimore’s most celebrated African American museums, ultimately saving visitors 20 percent off regular ticket prices. Passes are valid for three consecutive days, allowing plenty of time to pair museum tours with a variety of Baltimore’s other fantastic attractions and restaurants.
The Legends and Legacies Experience Pass is $19.95 for adults, $14.95 for children ages 6-17 and $16.75 for seniors and provides access to the National Great Blacks In Wax Museum, the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture and the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park. All of these multicultural efforts will culminate with an ad that Visit Baltimore will run in the May anniversary issue of Essence Magazine promoting Baltimore’s multicultural assets. This opportunity presented a rare chance to promote Baltimore’s cultural community directly to a key market in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Visit Baltimore also plans to have an on-site presence at this summer’s African American Heritage Festival to raise awareness of Baltimore’s African American history and heritage and promote the new Legends and Legacies Experience Pass.
