BGE Joins the Baltimore County Department of Aging to Sponsor Baltimore County Baby
Boomer/Senior Expo and Provide Information on Energy-Efficiency and Energy Safety
Company representatives join more than 250 other vendors at the two-day event
BALTIMORE (Oct. 8, 2013) – In an effort to provide important energy-efficiency and safety information to customers, Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE) has teamed up with the Baltimore County Department of Aging to sponsor the Baltimore County Baby Boomer/Senior Expo. Company representatives will be on hand to showcase an array of programs and services to the estimated 11,000 attendees. The Expo will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 9, from , and Thursday, Oct. 10, from , at the Timonium Fairgrounds, located at 2200 York Road in Timonium. BGE representatives will provide information on energy management, energy choice, electric reliability, smart meters, limited income assistance, and natural gas and electric safety.
“Many of our customers, including our seniors, have become increasingly interested in ways to manage their energy use and BGE is dedicated to providing customers with useful information to help them save energy and save money, while staying safe throughout the year,” said Michael Davenport, manager of community affairs for BGE. “BGE strives to empower all of our customers to make informed decisions about their energy use and safety. Customers can visit BGE’s exhibit booth to learn about things that they can begin to implement immediately, as well as ideas to address their future energy needs.”
