BGE Underground Utility Work to Result in Traffic Pattern Shifts on Portion of Security

Boulevard

BALTIMORE (Dec. 6, 2013) —BGE will be conducting work on underground utilities on a portion of Security Blvd. beginning on or about Dec. 13, 2013 and continuing approximately 11 weeks. The work will require temporarily closing center lanes of Security Boulevard in the eastbound and westbound directions between Ingleside Ave. and the I-70 interchange.  All lane closures will be clearly marked and managed. BGE reminds area motorists and pedestrians to be cautious in and around utility work zones for their own safety and the safety of BGE employees and contractors.  This work is part of a continued investment by BGE in the equipment that delivers energy safely and reliably to customers.
