Cardin, Hoyer, Van Hollen, to Hold Press Conference on Republican Obstructionism

WASHINGTON, DC – On Wednesday, March 3, at 1:30 p.m. Senator Benjamin L. Cardin, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and Congressman Chris Van Hollen will hold a press conference to highlight how Republicans put American families at risk by allowing one senator to obstruct a bipartisan-backed measure that denied critical economic assistance to Americans struggling the most in this economic downturn. They will also discuss how their pattern of obstructionism shows the need to move forward on a simple majority vote to enact fixes to health insurance reform.
