LT. GOVERNOR BROWN TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE ANNOUNCING EXPANSION OF PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY ENTERPRISE ZONE

Camp Springs, Suitland added to designated area to provide incentives for job creation, community investment

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (February 26, 2010) – Lt. Governor Anthony G. Brown will hold a press conference on Monday, March 1 at 10:00 AM in Camp Springs to announce the expansion of the Prince George’s County Enterprise Zone. The press conference is scheduled to take place immediately after a meeting of business owners and investors convened by Senator Ulysses Currie. The Camp Springs and Suitland communities expect significant development and economic investment because of BRAC, which will bring more than 3,000 new jobs to Andrews Air Force Base.
