WHAT: The Governor, Comptroller and Speaker will join with consumer advocates to help highlight the Earned Income Tax Credit and to urge Marylanders to file returns and claim the credits they deserve. The event is part of Maryland’s large-scale outreach efforts, both by state agencies and thru non-profit partners, to increase uptake in the federal EITC, a program that will bring in over $557million in refunds for Maryland’s working families.
