Governor will discuss recent failures in Amtrak service and response with customers, media
ANNAPOLIS, MD (June 23, 2010) – Governor Martin O’Malley will climb aboard a MARC train tomorrow headed to New Carrollton, following what the Governor has called “unacceptable” failures in service and response to interruptions on the part of Amtrak, the operator of the MARC system for the State of Maryland.
The Governor will be available for media before boarding the train at BWI and after departing the train at New Carrollton. During his trip, the Governor will discuss the needs for improvement with MARC customers.
