GOVERNOR O’MALLEY TO SPEND DAY IN FREDERICK COUNTY



Governor to Continue “Jobs Across Maryland” Tour With Visit to Life Technologies;
Address Frederick Rotary Club


ANNAPOLIS, MD (September 28, 2010) – Governor Martin O’Malley tomorrow will spend the afternoon in Frederick County. Tomorrow morning, Governor O’Malley will continue his “Jobs Across Maryland” tour and will visit Life Technologies Corp., a global biotechnology company with operations in Frederick and Rockville. The company plans to expand its manufacturing facility in Frederick and add 100 new jobs by the end of 2011.

In the afternoon, he will address the Frederick Rotary Club and will focus his remarks on the O’Malley-Brown Administration’s efforts to create jobs, save jobs, and improve the conditions for Maryland businesses, large and small, to create and save jobs.
