Comptroller to Present Award to Area School

-Franchot to Recognize Maintenance and Cost Savings Efforts at Four Seasons Elementary-

WHAT: Comptroller Peter Franchot will visit Four Seasons Elementary School in Gambrills to present students and faculty with his inaugural Silver Hammer Award for superior school maintenance. The honor, one of 15 being awarded statewide, recognizes the school’s efforts to protect valuable state resources through innovative facility upkeep.

Comptroller Franchot will give special recognition to Louis Queen, the school’s chief custodian who has been at the facility since its opening 36 years ago.
