Comptroller to Visit Baltimore, Carroll Counties

WHAT: Comptroller Franchot will visit Baltimore and Carroll counties as he travels around the state awarding businesses with his Better with Less award.

The program is designed to recognize organizations which have achieved economic success while using fewer resources, identified new market opportunities in the current economic climate, used innovation to operate more efficiently or strengthened local communities by providing vital services or opportunities for success.

In total, the Comptroller will present 24 Better with Less awards throughout the state. One winner will be named in each county and Baltimore City. The 24-stop tour will continue for the next two months.
