WHAT: Comptroller Franchot will tour Odenton Elementary School to recognize the facility’s superior maintenance record and to celebrate National Education Week. Built in 1930, Odenton Elementary School has been renovated five times with the latest completed in 1991.

As a member of the state’s Board of Public Works which authorizes school construction funding, the comptroller continues to recognize efforts to protect valuable state resources through innovative facility upkeep.
