CARDIN TO ATTEND TRAYVON MARTIN COMMUNITY PRAYER VIGIL



On Monday, April 9, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) will attend a prayer vigil for Trayvon Martin hosted by the African American Coalition of Howard County and St. John Baptist Church.

Senator Cardin will discuss the tragedy and how it underscores the need to pass the End Racial Profiling Act, S. 1670, which he introduced in the U.S. Senate in October 2011. The Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing on the bill later this month.
