Edwards To Host Congressional Art Competition Reception

Washington, D.C. – On Saturday, May 5, 2012, Congresswoman Donna F. Edwards (D-MD) will host a Congressional Art Competition Reception for Maryland’s 4th Congressional District. At the event, a winner will be announced from over 20 participants whose winning art piece will be displayed in the tunnel connecting the Cannon House Office Building to the Capitol. Since the competition began in 1982, over 650,000 high school students have participated, helping to recognize and encourage artistic talent across the country.
