Comptroller, State’s Attorney to Announce Illegal Nightclub Operations Indictments

-16 Indicted, Seven Nightclubs, Estimated $694K Owed State of Maryland-

WHAT:          Comptroller Franchot will join State’s Attorney for Prince George’s County Angela Alsobrooks, as well as members of his Field Enforcement Division, in announcing the indictments of 16 individuals who owned and/or operated seven illegal nightclubs in Prince George’s County. Each defendant will be charged with a variety of tax, alcohol and licensing violations.
