LT. GOVERNOR BROWN TO PARTICIPATE IN BALTIMORE’S COLUMBUS DAY COMMEMORATION AND PARADE
BALTIMORE, Md. (October 5, 2012) – SUNDAY, Lt. Governor Anthony G. Brown will participate in Baltimore’s Columbus Day Commemoration, serving as Grand Marshal in the Columbus Day Parade from Key Highway to Little Italy. Lt. Governor Brown will join Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and over 100 other parade participants and members of the Little Italy community for brunch at Della Notte Restaurant prior to the parade. This year marks the Italian community’s 122nd celebration of Columbus Day in Baltimore, the longest continuous observance in the country.
