WHAT: Comptroller Franchot is leading a roundtable discussion with members of the Pasadena Business Association in Anne Arundel County during the latest stop on his statewide Economic Truth Tour. The tour is designed for the Comptroller to hear directly from business leaders, government officials and private citizens about economic conditions across the state. He will meet with representatives from key Maryland industries including agriculture, labor, life sciences, information technology, health care, mining, wineries, real estate, banking, military contracting and hospitality. The Economic Truth tour will visit all 23 counties and Baltimore City.
Additionally, the Comptroller will speak with senior citizens, students, clergy, small business owners, municipal government leaders, and watermen at different stops throughout the state. The initiative is another step in involving all Marylanders in the state’s continuing economic recovery.
