CARDIN TO VISIT NORTH OAKS TO DISCUSS THE IMPORTANCE OF MEDICARE &
SOCIAL SECURITY TO SENIORS
On Sunday, October 21, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) will talk with Baltimore County seniors at North Oaks Retirement Community to discuss the importance of protecting Medicare and Social Security as a “guaranteed benefit.” As a member of the Senate Finance and Budget committees, Senator Cardin also will discuss the facts concerning Medicare and Social Security’s long-term fiscal health and what needs to be done to avoid the looming “fiscal cliff, which poses a serious threat to our economic recovery. The Senator also is a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and will discuss unfolding events in the Middle East.

The sign will say Health Center, Autumn Ridge, resident parking. Please do not enter at the health center (Blue double awning). You may park in the lot to the left. There is a single door on the left side of the parking lot. Enter through two sets of doors; follow the hallway to the right until you reach the lobby of Wilson Hall.
