Baltimore Gas and Electric Company Employees Prepare Service Restoration Materials for Field Deployment in Advance of Hurricane Sandy
Media invited to visit materials warehouse where poles, wires, storm kits and other restoration equipment is stored
WHO: Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE)
WHAT: As part of BGE’s proactive pre-mobilization actions in advance of Hurricane Sandy, employees are preparing and stocking their vehicles with service restoration materials, including poles, wires, storm kits, safety materials and other restoration equipment.
WHEN: Friday, Oct. 26, 2012
11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

WHY: BGE personnel, company field and contract crews have been pre-mobilized in anticipation of potential extended power outages associated with Hurricane Sandy. As part of this effort, equipment required to restore electric service is being prepared for field deployment so that crews can respond to outage reports as safely and as quickly as possible.
