CARDIN TO VISIT TWO BALTIMORE COUNTY SENIOR FACILITIES TO DISCUSS THE IMPORTANCE OF MEDICARE & SOCIAL SECURITY WITH SENIORS
On Friday, November 2, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) will visit the Pikesville Senior Center and the Atrium Village in Baltimore County to discuss the importance of protecting Medicare and Social Security as a “guaranteed benefit.” As a member of the Senate Finance and Budget committees, Senator Cardin also will discuss the facts concerning Medicare and Social Security’s long-term fiscal health and what needs to be done to avoid the looming “fiscal cliff, which poses a serious threat to our economic recovery.
Senator Cardin’s schedule of senior visits for Friday, November 2 is as follows:
