WHAT: Comptroller Franchot will participate in a financial literacy course at Winters Mill High School and tour the facility. Carroll County is one of six counties in the state that require students to take a course in personal finance before graduation. Comptroller Franchot continues to be a strong supporter of mandatory financial literacy education for all Maryland students.
The Comptroller will also deliver a proclamation to the staff at Harry’s Restaurant. The legendary establishment has been serving terrific food to the residents and visitors of Westminster for more than 20 years.
