CARDIN STATEMENT ON THE PASSING

OF SENATOR DANIEL INOUYE

 
Washington, DC -- U.S Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) issued the following the statement on the passing of the Senator Daniel Inouye of Hawaii:
 

"The Senate and our country have lost a great American hero with the passing of Senator Inouye. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family and the people of Hawaii. 
 
“Daniel Inouye's story of sacrifice and service is one that will continue to inspire generations to come. The examples that he set are ones to note and respect.  My colleagues and I were all truly blessed and honored to work and learn alongside him, he will be deeply missed.  ”
