PUBLIC SAFETY TOWN HALL
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (February 8, 2013) – MONDAY, Lt. Governor Anthony G. Brown will hold a live on-air town hall through Google Plus Hangouts to answer questions on the O’Malley-Brown Administration’s proposed public safety legislative package. The Lt. Governor will be joined by State Police Superintendent Colonel Marcus Brown, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Lillian Lowery, and Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Secretary Dr. Joshua M. Sharfstein for the conversation, which will be moderated by Chief Legislative Officer Stacy Mayer. Questions were submitted online.

Lt. Governor Brown is leading community outreach efforts on the Administration’s comprehensive public safety legislative package. Over the last two weeks, he and Cabinet leaders held well-attended town halls in Baltimore City, Prince George’s County and Montgomery County, where they were joined by local elected officials to hear directly from community members about ways to continue building a safer Maryland together.
