Marion, who was known to all as “Buck,” went home to be with the Lord on June 11. He was the son of Marion and Sodonia Taylor of Snow Hill, Md. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Clifton Fisher.
Buck was educated in the Worcester County and Wicomico County Public Schools. Later in life, he moved to Baltimore and there he met his wife of 30 years, Deborah.
Buck was employed with Value Motors, Hills Towing Service and Curtis Towing Service. Buck then stepped out on his own and opened a repair shop and K&B Towing Service. He was a happy person, and he was always “cracking jokes” and “cutting up.” He enjoyed spending time with his family —especially his grandchildren — and his friends. He especially enjoyed teasing his sister-in-law, Denise, and she was always there for both him and Deborah.
Buck leaves behind to mourn: his wife, Deborah Coles-Taylor; his children , Margina Taylor-Joynes of Salisbury, Maryland, Marion David Taylor, Jr. and Jernaine (and Paul) Cooper; three sisters, Shirley Sanders, Vivian Lawrence and Linda Taylor, all of Salisbury, Maryland; three brothers, Kenneth Taylor of Berlin, Maryland, Sylvester (and Gabriel) Taylor of Leedville, Louisiana and Barry (and Peguire) Taylor of Waldorf, Maryland; two aunts, Mazie Collins and Dorothy Wharton, both of Snow Hill, Md.; his mother-in-law, Princetta Coles; two sister-in-la, Gloria Coles and Denise Coles; three brothers -in-law, Stanley Harrison, Dale Coles and Mark Terry. Buck also leaves seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of cousins.
