On Sept. 12, 2011, God called Bianca Renata Sullivan home to be with Him.
Bianca was born on April 10, 1985 to Michael Sullivan and Andrea Wicks. Affectionately known as “Boo” to some and “B” to others, she was and is a great inspiration to everyone who came into her presence.
She was baptized at an early age at New Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church. She has been a lifetime member of the Dorcas Freewill Baptist Church.
Bianca graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School where she was an outstanding scholar and athlete. She was a basketball star who played for the “Lady Poets” and helped lead them to many championships on the city, state and national levels.
She attended Morgan State University where she started her collegiate career. Due to her illness she transferred to Catonsville Community College where she graduated with an associate degree in accounting and was accepted at the University of Baltimore, majoring in psychology.
Bianca loved to play basketball and absolutely loved the Baltimore Ravens. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, giving advice and sharing her wisdom. Throughout Bianca’s illness, she was truly a soldier. She fought a good fight and never complained.
Bianca leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Andrea Wicks; her father, Michael Sullivan; her grandparents, Clara T. Forby, Carolyn Gates and Bobby Sullivan; sisters, Briana, Shelbi, Mychele and Mikael; brother, Michael Jr. “Mj”; godson, Kiyon Rollins; her aunts, Denise, Cheryl, Theresa, Maria, Claudette and Dorothea; her uncles, Robert, Kevin, Derrick, two dedicated uncles, Thurman and Dean; two special friends, Tiara Myers and Lashai Lyles assisted with her care, her godparents, Sonnie and Lisa Hill-Price and Michael Wells. She also leaves to mourn: a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
