Morgan State University’s homecoming weekend will get underway Oct. 13 with a 2012 Homecoming Pre-game Memorial from 10 to noon honoring the championship teams from 1964-67 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), 1971 and 1979 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) will be held.

The Black Sports Legends Foundation (BSLF) will present a preview showing of several featured films, such "First and Goal from the Bronx," "The Morgan Lacrosse Story" and the Papa Bear Documentary on the legendary Earl Banks. All films will be presented in full showing at the 2013 Black Sports Legends Foundation film festival, which will be held at Morgan State University.

The memorial will serve as an opportunity for prayer for players and coaches who have passed on. The memorial will feature several special guest speakers. All alumni and former players are invited. For more information, contact Ronald K. Bethea, CEO, The Black Sports Legends Foundation, 202-246-4924, P.O. Box 60207, Washington, DC 20039.
