Capital Jazz Fest Draws Thousands to Columbia's Merriweather Post Pavilion

The 21st Annual Capital Jazz Fest 2013, featuring a variety of soul and jazz acts powered into Columbia's Merriweather Post Pavilion June 7 - 9, drawing thousands of music fans from across the nation who came to enjoy hours of outdoor musical entertainment.

The event featured more than 30 acts on two large stages:  The Pavilion, where contemporary artists and contemporary jazz acts played; and the Soul Stage, also known as the Party Stage, which was the spot to see soul performers.

This years line-up included Will Downing, Jeffrey Osborne, Marcus Miller, Eric Benet, Dave Koz, Ledisi, and many more.

As usual, music lovers people-watched, ate, drank, shopped at the local vendors, and reveled in the music at one of the area's most popular annual entertainment events.
