Prince George’s Pink Bandit Strikes Again

The Prince George’s County Police Department are asking the public’s assistance to identify a woman who, for the second time in a month, has held up a bank while dressed all in pink, according to the department’s blog.

On Dec. 27, 2013, at about 5:30 pm, the woman entered the Capital One Bank branch in the 5800 block of Eastern Avenue. She passed a teller a note demanding cash. Fearing for her safety, the teller complied. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Twenty-five days earlier, on Dec. 2, 2013, a woman police believe to be the same suspect targeted the Capital One Bank branch in the 6200 block of Annapolis Road.

The suspect is described as a Black woman in her late 20s, approximately 5’8”-5’11” tall. In both cases, she wore a pink head wrap, a pink coat, and was holding a pink cell phone.
