NORFOLK, Va.– The Howard University Lady Bison basketball team overpowered the Lady Aggies of North Carolina A&T State University 55-42 to reach the Mid-East Athletic Association (MEAC) Tournament finals March 15 at Scope Arena in Norfolk, Va.

But a three-pointer by senior forward Kara Smith changed the contest and put the game in Howard's favor.
