(May 23, 2009) - Memorial Day weekend is approaching and there’s much to do in Charm City. The weather will be in the 80s and the kids are out of school. Let’s make this weekend a nice one.

Two of Baltimore’s biggest parties went down last week and the streets are still buzzing about the fun. T-Mobile hosted its annual Sidekick Launch Party around the country and Baltimore was fortunate enough to be in the mix. The event, held at Sonar, was free and included an open bar. Upon arrival, patrons were greeted by a T-Mobile hostess and plush couches arranged with the company’s logo on them. Partygoers were also permitted to test out the new sidekick with the help of T-Mobile expert. DJ Chad from N.E.R.D hosted and dee-jay’d the party.

Marcy Crump and The Flywire hosted the annual All White Affair, which went down at the Fredrick Douglass Issac Meyers Maritime Museum this past Sunday. The event featured Baltimore socialites and local radio hosts. Partygoers were required to wear all white to the event and were said to have a good time dancing the night away.

If you’re a lover of ‘90s music, make your way down to the Hippodrome (12 N. Eutaw St.) on May 22 to catch SWV, Jon B., Kelly Price, Carl Thomas, Silk and Shadina for the Essence of R&B. Keisha Cole will be at Pier Six Pavilion on June 6 along with Keri Hilson, Bobby Valentino and The Dream.

Your favorite Baltimore hotspots--- Pur, Lux, T.D. Lounge and many others--- will all be holding Memorial Day weekend parties. Log on to bmorefab.thefabempire.com to get the entire scoop.

Until Next Week,

Mia
