i think this carton wasn't necessary because the issue with professor Gates I think, was taken out of context. The police officer was jus dong his job and the media made it look like racism. I also think President Obama shouldn't have gotten involved. As a police officer, I put my life on the line everyday and hope to make it back home to my family. Police officers are more afraid than an average civilian. Therefore, the rule is "Officer safety first." It is always racism everytime a police officer arrives to a seen once he or she receives a call. I'm sure every police officer who serve in this great country live in agrees."
