The ACLU of Mississippi is suing the Madison County Sheriff’s Department for, “targeting of Black residents for Unconstitutional and often violent searches and seizures,” according to the ACLU. We’ll speak with attorney Jonathan Youngwood, co-counsel on the ACLU case about the allegations of misconduct against the Madison County Sheriff’s Department. Also, we’ll talk to filmmaker Stanley Nelson about his documentary on the nation’s HBCUs’, “Tell Them We Are Rising: The Story of Black Colleges and Universities.”
