CARDIN TRAVELS TO CASA DE MARYLAND TO DISCUSS IMMIGRATION REFORM WITH COMMUNITY LEADERS

 

TODAY/Monday, May 20 at 1:00pm, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) will visit CASA de Maryland in Prince George’s County to discuss immigration reform with community leaders from across the Maryland-Washington Suburbs. The event follows the first week of deliberation by the Senate Judiciary Committee of comprehensive immigration reform legislation (S. 744). It also comes just days after a group in the House of Representatives announced that they had reached a bipartisan agreement on immigration reform.
