BGE to Host Smart Energy Fair for Customers at Mondawmin Mall

Company teams up with the Maryland Office of Home Energy Programs and invites residential customers to attend the fair to learn more about

energy management and conservation, limited-income assistance, energy choice, safety and a variety of other programs

 

BALTIMORE (July 15, 2013) – Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE) today announced that in collaboration with the Maryland Office of Home Energy Programs, the company is hosting a Smart Energy Fair in an effort to provide customers with comprehensive energy management information. The event will take place on Tuesday, July 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.at the Mondawmin Mall, 2401 Liberty Heights Avenue in Baltimore. Residential customers are encouraged to attend the fair to learn more about energy management and conservation, hot weather energy-saving tips, limited-income assistance, energy choice, safety and a variety of other programs, including BGE’s Smart Energy Savers Program® and the newly launched BGE Smart Energy RewardsSM program.

“As our customers continue to be interested in ways to better manage their energy consumption, we are committed to providing our customers with important information about how they can reduce their energy use and save money on their bill,” said Carol Dodson, vice president and chief customer officer for BGE. “BGE representatives will be on hand to provide customers with important information on energy management and conservation, natural gas and electric safety, limited-income assistance and our innovative energy-saving programs. In addition, interactive educational activities will be available for children.”

BGE’s Smart Energy Fair will include information on the following:
