BOPA Sponsors Tech Career Job Fair Conducted at D.C. Hotel

Several of the nation’s top companies are taking part in a career fair hosted by the Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA), a Largo, Md.-based nonprofit that represents some of the nation’s top technology and IT professionals. The free two-day career fair will be held Aug.16-17, 2013, at the Washington Hilton Hotel.

Exhibitors include: Accenture, Blue Cross Blue Shield, CA Technologies, CHRISTUS Health, D & E Motor Sports, Deloitte, Diversity Careers, Eli Lilly and Company, General Motors, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Federal Reserve System, GEICO, General Electric, Johnson & Johnson, Life Technologies, Microsoft, Monsanto, the National Security Agency, NextEra Energy, PNC Bank, Prudential Financial Inc., Robert Half International, State Farm Insurance, Boeing, Trinity Health, University of Phoenix, the U.S. Navy, Wal-Mart, Wells Point and Wells Fargo.

The career fair is open from noon to 6 p.m. on Aug. 16 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 17.
