House Democratic Women Highlight Personal Stories of How Republican Budget Impacts Women



Washington, DC – Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 19, 2013, House Democratic Members will discuss the Republican Budget’s impact on women. To highlight specific examples, they will be joined by women who will share their personal stories. Representatives Donna F. Edwards (MD-4), Doris Matsui (CA-6), Debbie Wasserman Schultz (FL-23), Jan Schakowsky (IL-9), Gwen Moore (WI-4), and Michelle Lujan Grisham (NM-1) will highlight the Republican Budget’s impact on healthcare, Medicare and Medicaid, minority and low-income women, and young women and working mothers.
