GOVERNOR MARTIN O’MALLEY TO CELEBRATE DAY TO SERVE AT KICK-OFF

ANNAPOLIS, MD (September 10, 2013— TomorrowSeptember 11, Governor Martin O’Malley will kick off Maryland’s 2013 Day to Serve at a rally at the Baltimore Community ToolBank. September 11 is the National Day of Service and Remembrance.

WHERE: Baltimore Community ToolBank, 1224 Wicomico Street, Baltimore, MD

WHEN: Wednesday, September 11 at 10:00 a.m.

From September 15th to September 29, Marylanders will work together as a community and with our neighbors in Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C., to harness the incredible power of service. For the second year in a row, we encourage all Marylanders to do what they can to serve actively. Together, we can eradicate hunger and protect and restore our environment.
