GOVERNOR O’MALLEY TO ANNOUNCE MARYLAND’S LATEST JOBS NUMBERS

 
Domino Sugar event to highlight Maryland’s economic recovery and continued job growth
  

Baltimore, MD (January 27, 2013) –Governor O’Malley will announce Maryland’s latest jobs numbers tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. at the Domino Sugar refinery, a plant in operation for more than 90 years in Baltimore. The event will focus on Maryland's performance in the post-recession jobs recovery. The U.S. Department of Labor will make available state-specific jobs data tomorrow morning.

WHEN: Tuesday, January 28, 2014, 11:00 a.m. Guests should arrive at 10:30 a.m

WHERE: Domino Sugar, 1100 Key Hwy E, Baltimore, Maryland 21230

**IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION**

Due to Homeland Security procedures, all guests must RSVP by 9:00 PM TODAY to attend the press conference tomorrow. No additional guests will be permitted at the gate. Please email name and organization to ron.boehmer@maryland.gov if you plan to attend. 
 
 

Bring photo ID. Upon entering the facility, stop at the security booth. Guests will be asked to show ID and sign in. Security will provide instructions on parking.

A representative will meet you at your car and provide you with personal protective equipment to wear before entering the facility. The representative will gather all parties to walk to the building for the press conference at 10:45 AM.

The facility has STRICT safety/cleanliness precautions as they are manufacturing foods. All jewelry (watches, earrings, necklaces, etc.) is prohibited on the tour. Guests must wear closed-toes shoes and heels are prohibited. Guests will be given eye protection, ear protection, a hard hat, a hair net and facial hair covers (for men). Guests should leave purses or bags in their car.
