Howard junior quarterback Greg McGhee tossed two touchdowns, but the Bison football team still fell short, 27-17, to the North Carolina A&T Aggies in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) showdown on Thursday night, Sept. 26 at Aggies Stadium in Greensboro, N.C.

Howard had a hard time stopping N.C. A&T’s senior quarterback Lewis Kindle, who led the Aggies on four scoring drives in the first half. N.C. A&T led, 27-10, at halftime.

Kindle finished the night completing 14 of 22 passes for 140 yards, a touchdown pass and a touchdown run. Howard’s McGhee in contrast, completed 20 of 44 passes for 186 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the loss.

Howard now has a 1-3 overall record and will next face North Carolina Central on Oct. 5 at Greene Stadium in Washington, D.C.
