Experts in motor vehicle safety, law enforcement and human behavior
WHAT: Experts will lead discussions and workshops relating to driving safety. Key topics include distracted and impaired driving, occupant protection, emergency vehicle safety, blind spots, vehicle safety checks, wires down at crashes. In addition, the day will also feature speakers from Shock Trauma as well as a mock vehicle collision and extraction.

WHY: BGE is committed to the safety of its customers and employees and will once again partner with the Baltimore County Police Department for BGE’s annual Teen Driving Safety Day. Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death among young drivers, especially within the first year of being licensed. The goal is to help educate young adults about the risks associated with operating a motor vehicle, and to help reinforce positive driving messages.
