TEAM MARYLAND BRIEFING ON THE STATE OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY



TODAY, Thursday, April 15 at 3:30PM, Senate and House members of the Maryland Congressional delegation will convene to hear from federal and state experts on the “Chesapeake Bay: Current Status of Restoration Efforts.”  The Maryland delegation is scheduled to hear about the state of Bay health as well as current federal and state initiatives to restore this regional and national treasure.  Senator Benjamin L. Cardin, chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Water and Wildlife Subcommittee, which has oversight responsibility for the Chesapeake Bay Program, will chair the delegation meeting.
