Comptroller Franchot Announces Tax Credit Outreach

 

for AA Small Business Owners

WHAT:          Comptroller Franchot, along with Mayor Joshua Cohen and small business owners will announce an expansion of the first-of-its-kind outreach campaign to small businesses in Anne Arundel County which may be eligible for special tax credits.

 

The Comptroller’s Office is participating in a pilot program introduced by Maryland Health Care for All Coalitionaimed at informing more than 5,800 small businesses in Anne Arundel County about potentially eligibility for tax credits under the Affordable Care Act.  Using tax data, the Comptroller’s Office compiled the list of businesses and is mailing out the notice to protect confidentiality. .
