The Baltimore Ravens lost its fourth and final game of the preseason, 24-21, against the St. Louis Rams on Aug. 29 in St. Louis, Mo.

Six-year Ravens head coach John Harbaugh typically rests his starters during the final preseason game. This year was no different, as some starters, including Joe Flacco and Ray Rice, didn’t even make the trip to St. Louis, opting to watch the game from home in Baltimore.

Backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor even had the game off as Harbaugh allowed third string passer Caleb Haynie to play the entire game. Hanie completed 20-of-39 passes for 272 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

Third-string running back Bobby Rainey led the Ravens with 13 rushes for 39 yards and two touchdowns, but the most impressive play of the game was a 50-yard touchdown caught by undrafted rookie Marlon Brown. The 6-foot-5 receiver out of the University of Georgia finished the game with four catches and 79 yards. He has impressed the coaching staff all preseason, should win a roster spot and may end up as one of Flacco’s surprise receiving weapons during the regular season.

The Ravens will face the Denver Broncos in the first game of the regular season Sept. 5; the Thursday night game in Denver will air on NBC at 8:30 p.m. local time.
