Baltimore County, MD (May 5, 2020) – Beginning May 5,  and continuing  every Tuesday in the month of May, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Pearls by the Bay Interest Group will conduct a web-based panel series via the virtual app, Zoom, to benefit African American small business owners and entrepreneurs in the Baltimore County community and surrounding areas. Shekeitha L. Jeffries, vice president of the Pearls by the Bay group shared the following about the intent behind bringing these business owners together for the panel style events: “In an effort to foster continued support for our local community businesses, we want to shed a light on their offerings, offer a platform for them to reach additional audiences and consumers, and bring valuable advice to other entrepreneurs who may be in need during this unprecedented time.”
