LAKELAND, Fla. (AP) — A caller to 911 moments after a gunman opened fire in a Florida church pleads for help and says he’s been shot.

The caller says “Please help us, ma’am” and asks that an ambulance be sent.

The 911 calls were released Monday by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office following the shootings of two pastors at the Lakeland church.

Both survived but authorities say the alleged gunman, 57-year-old Jeremiah Fogle, shot and killed his wife before going to the church. Fogle is charged with murder and attempted murder.

A second caller tells a dispatcher that people were screaming and running from the church and that he heard four or five shots.
