The Fell’s Point neighborhood will be taking to the streets this weekend to hold the first of two Fell’s Point First Saturday Sidewalk Sales on Sept. 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The second event is to be held on Oct. 3.

Many Fells Point restaurants have moved their service to outside “parklets” for al fresco dining on the cobblestone streets and this weekend more than a dozen merchants will move their wares outside for a sidewalk sale. This event promotes shopping small at the 54 independently owned shops in the neighborhood. Customers can also enjoy a meal at one of 29 restaurants offering dining reminiscent of European towns – in open air streets with an expansive view of the Baltimore Waterfront.

Doug Yeakey of EC Pops, a one-stop shop for Maryland-themed apparel and goods, shared, “We’re thankful for this coordinated effort among Fells Point Main Street businesses. The Sidewalk Sales give our customers that may not feel comfortable shopping indoors, an option to support local businesses.”

Participating shops include After Midnight, aMuse Toys, ANGEL PARK Boutique, EC Pops, Fell’s Point Surf Company, Greedy Reads, Katwalk Boutique, Party Dress, Poppy & Stella, Super Linen, Ten Thousand Villages and The Seasoned Olive.

Over 1,000 parking spaces are available at the Caroline Street Garage located 1100 feet from Broadway Square. Visit www.fellspointmainstreet.org for more information.
