It seems Fox News just can’t let it go when it comes to music superstar Chris Brown. Last Tuesday the singer tweeted, “No more planking for me unless it’s on a sexy lady. Lol.” It seemed like a slightly racy, but otherwise harmless quip by Brown. However, Fox News anchor Andy Levy took the opportunity to respond to Brown’s tweet by writing, “You spelled “punching” wrong.” It was clearly a reference to Brown’s arrest for assault of then girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

During a broadcast on the conservative network Levy went on to deliver an “apology” to Brown.

“To Mr. Brown, I apologize for referencing the fact that you beat the crap out of Rihanna. It was disrespectful of me to draw attention to the fact that you put your girlfriend in the hospital,” Levy said sardonically at the beginning of his lengthy rant, to which Brown responded via Twitter, “Children conduct themselves better. Much love and success!”

Last month Fox commentator Laura Ingraham slammed NBC for making Brown the headliner of one of their Summer Concert Series shows.
