AP Photo-This undated handout photo provided by the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History shows John Coltrane’s Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone, one of three principal saxophones Coltrane played. One of Coltrane’s tenor saxophones is joining the jazz collection at the Smithsonian. Coltrane’s son, Ravi Coltrane, will donate one of his father’s three principal tenor saxophones to the National Museum of American History on Wednesday. The donation marks the 50th anniversary of John Coltrane’s masterpiece composition “A Love Supreme.” Photo/Hugh Talman, Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History
